After the Revolution
Throughout Havana, the iconic imagines of Ché and Castro still adorn billboards and alley walls. “Patria o Muerte” (Homeland or Death) and “Viva la Revolución” (Long Live the Revolution) are a common visual refrain. On the eve of Cuba’s transition into more open relations with the US, these intrepid students went inside local homes and businesses, learning from Cubans young and old about the struggles of daily life and their hopes, dreams and expectations for the future.
